HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A court hearing next week could end a legal fight over documents in a lawsuit over the murders at UAH.
The families of two UAH shooting victims claim the school and the provost are resisting subpoenas. The families also claim the school and provost are trying to drive up legal costs.
Attorneys for the families want records of any call or request for security detail, from the president of the university, the provost, or staff concerning Amy Bishop-Anderson.
Court records say UAH estimated it would cost somewhere between $1-million and $6.8-million to hand over the records.
A judge set a hearing for February 1 over the plaintiff's complaints.
