COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Jury selection for a Colbert County man accused of killing his father is expected to begin Monday.
Brian Martin is charged with murder in the shooting death of his father at his home in May of 2011.
He claims the shooting was self defense.
Martin told investigators that he went to his father's house to get money and his father came at him with a sword.
