DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Two men are in custody for questioning after a bank robbery in Decatur.
Peoples Bank at 303 Beltline Road in Decatur was robbed around 2 p.m. Friday.
Police say a man wearing a disguise entered the bank with a gun and demanded money. The teller complied, and the man walked out and got away in a white Ford F150
They issued a BOLO for the truck, and Hartselle Police pulled a truck over on Vaugh Bridge Road.
The two men inside the truck, John David VanStennis and Joseph Michael Borden, were taken into custody and charged with first degree robbery.
The stolen money and a gun were recovered from the vehicle.
