DEACTUR, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur Police seized more than 28 grams of cocaine during a
drug bust Thursday.
A Special Operation Unit searched a home on Vine Street in
Decatur. Agents found approximately 28 grams of cocaine, prescription pills,
marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The occupants, Marquis Cooper and Melinda Handley, were
arrested.
Cooper was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana
possession of drug paraphernalia and outstanding failure to appear warrants.
Handley was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia
and loitering in a drug house.
