HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police arrested James Arch after he failed to comply with the sex offender and notification act, or SORNA.
HPD saID Arch did not register as a sex offender while living in Huntsville.
Police originally arrested Arch for loitering charged but him with failing to register with local law enforcement as a sex offender after they checked his background.
He is being held in Madison County Metro Jail on a $10,000 bond.
