The Denny's on University Drive in Huntsville scored a 79 with the Madison County Health Department.

The inspector took off points after finding several live roaches inside the restaurant. The inspector also reported discovering a cook's drink in an open container above a food preparation area and spray bottles with no labels.

Tienda Maya II in Albertville scored a 78 with the Marshall County Health Department.

The inspector reported finding eggs for sale at room temperature. They discovered rice held too cold, nearly 30 degrees below the hot-holding temperature required to prevent bacterial growth. The health department also reported an employee was chewing gum while prepping food.

David Gibson's Bar-B-Q on Bob Wallace avenue scored an 82. Food temperatures were reported, with chicken and pork held 15 to 17 degrees below the required hot food temperature of 135 degrees Farenheit. The inspector also reported employees not wearing gloves while prepping bread for sandwiches.

Sakkio Japan in the Madison Square Mall food court scored an 84. The inspector reported an employee was eating in the kitchen, and that shrimp, chicken and noodles were held a few degrees above the required cold food temperature.

Also in Huntsville, the Holiday Foods meat department scored an 83. The inspector reported meat cutting boards had a reddish film on the surface that was thick enough that it could be scraped with a fingernail. They also docked Holiday Foods for cleaner and de-greaser sitting next to a meat slicer.

The Brindlee Mountain Food Mart in Union Grove scored an 82, losing points because of a dirty ice maker.
