HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
The Huntsville School Board will meet
Wednesday to discuss the future of a new Grissom High School.
School leaders want to build a bigger
building for the school with the district's biggest student body.
Two sites are being closely considered the
current campus or a site on Weatherly Road.
Questions have been raised about the
Weatherly Road site because of the possible impact on an archaeological site occupied
by Native Americans.
Wednesday night, the school board will select
an architect firm to design the new school. The board will hold its meeting at
5:30 at the Annie Merts Center.
