There will be no new trial for a North Alabama man convicted of murder.
Keith George appeared before a Limestone County judge Tuesday after filing a motion for a new trial.
George shot and killed his nephew, Rusty, during a family gathering in 2009.
Defense attorneys had hoped to convince jurors that the shooting was in self defense.
