ALDOT crew member hit by semi released from hospital

TANNER, AL (WAFF) -

A third member of a road crew hit by an 18-wheeler went home from the hospital this week.

The remaining hospitalized crew member, Micky Collier, is said to be in fair condition.

That wreck happened last week on I-65 in Tanner.

State troopers said the 18-wheeler hit the Alabama Department of Transportation truck with one crewman inside.

The tractor-trailer then hit three crew members outside the truck.

State troopers said it could take a few weeks to determine if the truck driver will be arrested.
