HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery.
It happened just after 5 p.m. Sunday in 400 block of Locust Ave.
The victim told police two men blocked his car with their car, then got out and assaulted him.
They tried to take the victims personal property but were unsuccessful.
The victim was cut with a knife during the altercation and received treatment at Huntsville Hospital.
His injury was not life threatening.
This case remains under investigation
