JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities in Jackson County said they caught the crook who sent his loot across state lines to be scrapped.

Bobby Jake Davis, 21, of Stevenson, was arrested on Thursday.

Last November, deputies said he stole a thousand dollars worth of property from a warehouse behind a home in Hollywood and that the property was then taken to South Pittsburg, Tennessee and scrapped there.

Davis is now being held on $5,000 bond in the Jackson County Jail.
