Four arrested in Gonzales drug bust

GONZALES, LA (WAFB) -

Four people, including two alleged heroin dealers, were arrested after an investigation by the Ascension Sheriff's Department.

Craig Encalade Jr., was arrested after a search warrant was executed at his home on S. Remy Robert Rd. in Gonzales.

Narcotics detectives say Encalade had heroin in his pockets when he was arrested, as well as heroin and marijuana packaged for sale in his home.

Amy Hughes, 36, Teya Young, 23, and Amy Hughes 36, were arrested at Encalade's home on drug charges.

Encalade has been charged with distribution of schedule I CDS, Possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug, possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS, possession of schedule II CDS, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, illegal carrying of a weapon.  His bond was set at $160,000.

Young has been charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS, possession of schedule II CDS, possession of a legend drug, illegal carrying of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Her bond was set at $26,000.

Millet has been charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS, possession of schedule I CDS, possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS, possession schedule II CDS, possession of a legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal carrying of weapons, warrant for theft of goods, warrant for careless operation, warrant for resisting an officer.  His bond was set at $146,000.

Hughes has been charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia.  Her bond was set at $10,000.

All four are still in Ascension Parish Jail.
