MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
A two-car accident on I-565 had traffic backed up on I-565 at the Zierdt Road exit.
Several fire trucks, first responders, and police officers responded to the scene.
Authorities said four vehicles were involved, and one man was taken by HEMSI to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the wreck is unknown at this time.
Only one lane of traffic was open, and traffic was backed up to the Wall Triana exit.
