Man sentenced to 10 years for stabbing man over driving

ALBERTVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A man will spend 10 years in jail for stabbing a man over his driving habits in a Marshall County mobile home park.

Jerry Dewayne Plott, 46, was sentenced this week on first degree assault charges.

He was charged with stabbing Keith Looney at a trailer park in Albertville on Rose Road in August 2009.

The two were reportedly in an argument over Looney's driving skills.

Looney had to be airlifted to a hospital as a result of his wounds.
