TANNER, AL (WAFF) -
State Troopers have released new information about the interstate accident involving an 18-wheeler and an Alabama Department of Transportation road crew.
That wreck happened early Wednesday morning on I-65 in Tanner.
The 18-wheeler hit an ALDOT vehicle and three members of the crew. One crew member was in the truck.
Troopers tell us the driver of the 18-wheeler is from Saint Louis, Missouri and was driving a 2004 Freightliner.
Road crew members Ronald Fletcher and Micky Collier are still in the hospital. Fletcher is in good condition. Collier is in critical condition.
