BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
The suspect in a shooting that killed a 15-year-old and wounded a 19-year-old Thursday morning turned himself into Baton Rouge Police Friday morning.
Police say 20-year-old Deaundre Williams got into an argument just before a 19- and 15-year-old was shot. This happened in the 1800 block of 71st Street around 2 a.m. Thursday.
According to reports, the 15-year-old was shot in the head and died Saturday, January 19th. The 19-year-old suffered moderate injuries.
Williams will be charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and illegal use of a firearm. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
