HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Madison County grand jury indicted a Huntsville man on a murder charge following a shooting during a convenience store hold up.
It happened in May at the Atlantis Corner on Old Monrovia Road.
Police say Courtneay Nance and Rodney Pride tried to rob the store. The clerk shot and killed Pride.
Prosecutors charged Nance with murder. The clerk was not charged.
Nance remains in jail on $200,000 bond. A trial date has not been set.
