SHEFFIELD, AL (WAFF) -
Sheffield Police and Sheffield Fire responded to a house fire on Riverbluff Drive.
The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. One person was home at the time but was able to get out safely.
Firefighters were able to get the fire contained quickly. Officials said the inside of the house was destroyed.
Crews believe the fire started in the back of the house. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but investigators will return Thursday to go through the home and look for a cause.
No one was injured.
