MADISON, AL (WAFF) -
District Two in southwestern Madison County is
experiencing a pump failure in a low lying area along Wallace Circle and Roema
Drive which is creating flooding.
Crews from Madison County's District Two and District Four along with Madison
Public Works and Madison Utilities are working to pump the water to prevent flooding of two homes.
Officials say efforts to lower the water level will continue, so crews can have access to
repair the pump. Drivers should be cautious when traveling through this area.
Madison County is also experiencing flooding in Triana, south of 6th Avenue and
also along Wall Triana. Drivers should use caution or find an alternate route until rains diminish.
