ARAB, AL (WAFF) -
An Arab man is sentenced to eight years in prison for stabbing a friend during an argument while the two were drinking.
Richard Leon Jones, 44, was taken into custody on Monday on first degree assault charges.
The charges stem from a July 2011 incident at a local apartment complex on Fourth Street.
Police said Jones and 55-year-old Robert Scott Miller were covered in blood when they arrived.
Miller was hospitalized with serious stab wounds to the abdomen.
