HEADLAND, AL (WSFA) -
The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is looking into a case in which a human skull was discovered in Henry County.
Henry County Sheriff William Maddox confirmed that a farmer in Headland found the skull. No additional details regarding the discovery were immediately available.
This is the second discovery of human remains in a week in Henry County.
An investigator searching for a missing Barbour County woman found the remains of a body behind a church along Highway 95 on January 10.
That case is being investigated as a criminal investigation.
