ARAB, AL (WAFF) -

Arab Police are asking for your help.

Someone went into a local convenience store, shoved a gun in the clerk's face, and demanded cash overnight.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

Arab Police said the man was completely covered up.

He entered the Fuel City convenience store on Highway 231 around 1:20 a.m. Monday. It used to be a Conoco. With a gun drawn, the man forced the clerk to pull out the cash register drawer and give him the money.

Police believe he was wearing blue jeans and a Carhartt jacket with another jacket on top of that.

He's believed to be around 5'6" to 6' tall weighting from 175 to 225 pounds, but police said the two coats made him look bigger than he really is.

Once he took the money, he then left the store.

"He appeared on foot on camera, and he left on foot on camera.  We don't know if there was a car to pick him up.  We don't know," said Sgt. Scott Watson with Arab Police Department.

If anyone has any information who this person is or if you saw the man going into or leaving the store, contact the Arab Police Department.
