FORT PAYNE, AL (WAFF) -
A DeKalb County woman faces drug charges after a deputy serving a warrant at a home noticed a chemical smell.
It happened at a home on Highway 176 on Lookout Mountain.
The deputy got permission to search the home. Investigators say the found marijuana, a glass pipe, meth, a syringe, a metal spoon, coffee filters and baggies.
Joni Alajean Posey, of Fort Payne, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana.
