DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
DeKalb County Drug Agents found three one-pot meth labs at a home in the Whitton Community. Seven more were found near the mobile home.
Deputies responded to the home after neighbors complained about chemical odors coming from the mobile home.
Deputies report finding a white bag with products of a meth lab. The officers then called in the Drug Task Force.
Agents say in addition to the meth labs they found drug paraphernalia and ingredients used for making meth. Agents also discovered a dumpster with seven more one-pot meth labs hidden inside.
Amy Lynn Shanefelt, of Albertville and Mary Rachel Waller, of Geraldine are charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Shanefelt and Waller were both taken to the DeKalb County Detention Center in Fort Payne.
