ARDMORE, AL (WAFF) -
Madison County authorities are investigating suspicious items found in the trunk of a car at a used car lot.
The Huntsville Police bomb squad responded to the scene at Affordable Used Cars at 9222 Highway 53 before 11 a.m. Monday.
Investigators said the owner discovered some suspicious items, including firearms, in the trunk of a car repossessed from Florida.
The bomb squad said the homemade device was not volatile, and the case is still under investigation.
