Investigators arrested a Marshall County man for failing to register as a sex offender.
Investigators say 36-year-old Jeffery Compton of Arab was recently released from jail earlier this month. Deputies say when he got out, he didn't register his new address.
Compton was convicted on second degree sex abuse in 2006.
He was booked in the Marshall County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
