HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A man is fighting for his life after a wreck in Huntsville early Saturday morning.
It happened just before 1:30 on Bob Wade Lane.
Police said 52-year-old Gary Barnett lost control and struck a utility pole just west of Northgate Drive.
HEMSI took the driver to the hospital with life threatening injuries. A passenger was also taken with minor injuries.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
