CULLMAN, AL (WAFF) -
Cullman Police are searching for a bank robber.
A man robbed First Community Bank off of Olive Street SW around 12:50 p.m. Thursday. He is described as a white man, bald, possibly wearing an earring. He was wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans and a medium to dark grey jacket.
Police said he gave a note to the teller demanding money but never showed a weapon.
The money was put in a bag and was recovered. Authorities said the robber apparently tossed the bag out alongside of the road.
He got away in a gray four-door car with partial tag beginning "1B." He was traveling toward Highway 31.
