BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Some roads
closed in Baton Rouge because of flooding Thursday, while other remained open
but were barely passable.
The
intersection at Burbank and Nicholson is closed due to high water.
Tiger Bend
is open, but has barricades and drivers are urged to be careful.
The
Louisiana State Police reported parts of I-10 East between Essen to Highland
were holding water, creating road hazards. The roadway was not closed due to
the water.
There were
also streets with isolated hazards, making it tricky for drivers.
Water was
shooting into the street Thursday morning on St. Joseph near the Baton Rouge
Police Department.
The sewage
department was heading out to investigate.
