A mother was arrested after deputies found drugs in a home
with two minor children.
Officials said they responded to a tip of drug activity at a
home on Mill Creek Road in Falkville.
Agents made contact with Shalauna Collier. They said they
found drug paraphernalia, prescription drugs and meth in the home.
Collier's two children were living in the home with the meth
readily accessible.
Collier was arrested and charged with possession of a
controlled substance, drug endangerment of a child and possession of drug
paraphernalia.
DHR placed the children in a grandmother's custody.
