Qualifying for Louisiana State House of Representatives
District 65 opened Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
Local businessman Scott Wilson was first
to qualify and another local businessman, Barry Ivey, says he will qualify
mid-morning.
The election was called after current representative Cliff
Richardson resigned citing health reasons.
The district is largely made up of
the Central area. Qualifying remains open until close of business on Friday.
