FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -
The Lauderdale County brothers arrested in Florida following a murder in Zip City will appear in court February 1.
24-year-old Shannon Brewer is charged with the murder of Mark Dishon and the assault of Sandra Sikes.
Investigators say the attacks happened at Dishon's home on Lauderdale County Road 638 on November 19, 2012.
The suspect's brother, Jerry Brewer, is accused of helping Shannon Brewer leave the state after the murder. Jerry Brewer is charged with theft.
U.S. Marshals captured the brothers in Tallahassee, Florida on November 20. The Brewers returned to Alabama to face charges November 29.
