MOULTON, AL (WAFF) -
The Lawrence County courthouse will be closed
to business the rest of the week as offices are relocated to the new judicial
building.
Maintenance crews are working with each office
to move furniture, files and other supplies into the new building on Market
Street.
Lawrence County officials say it will be a
steady stream of work from the court house to the new building as they prepare
reopen Monday in the new building.
The County is looking at another bond issue
later this year to pay for renovating the old courthouse.
The Lawrence County Courthouse will be closed while employees move to new judicial building.
