HOLDEN, LA (WAFB) -
Two convicted felons have been arrested in Livingston Parish for possession of a firearm.
Bobby Sykes, 38, and Barry Gill, 46, were arrested January 1st after Wildlife and Fisheries agents received an anonymous complaint of possible hunting violations.
Agents say Sykes and Gill were seen leaving a wooded area near C. Holden Rd. and Highway 1036 in Holden without required hunter orange and carrying a loaded 12-gauge shotgun.
Both men have been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, failing to wear hunter orange and hunting with an unplugged shotgun.
