FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -
A Shoals man faces several charges, including disarming and assaulting a law enforcement officer after an incident over the weekend.
Lauderdale County deputies arrested 37-year-old Phillip Quinn of Florence following a domestic dispute at Quinn's home Sunday morning.
Quinn's wife told deputies he ripped off her clothes and got violent.
During the arrest, Quinn broke free from the handcuffs, and lunged at a deputy. They used a stun gun on Quinn during the struggle. The deputy was treated at a hospital for minor injuries. Quinn was later released on bond.
