COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -
Muscogee County School District officials and Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley told News Leader 9 a 16-year-old Carver High School student has died.
The student, Adrian Rogers, was pronounced dead Monday morning.
Officials say Rogers was at wrestling practice jogging with a group when he collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. His body has been sent to Atlanta for an autopsy.
It's not known at this time if he had a medical issue.
The family of 16 year-old Adrian Rogers has set up an account for the community to help provide funds for his funeral. If you would like to donate you can do so by going to any Wells Fargo Bank and donating to the Adrian Rodgers Benefits Memorial Fund.
