ETOWAH COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -
A spokeswoman for the Etowah County Sheriff's Office says that Jessica Mae Hardin, who faces charges in the death of her 9-year-old stepdaughter, has been released from jail.
Earlier, a judge had reduced Hardin's bond from $500,000 to $150,000 because, according to the judge, the original bond was out of line with similar non-capital cases.
Hardin is charged with murder in the case. Savannah's grandmother, Joyce Garrard, is charged with capital murder and is in custody on no bond.
