Athens, AL (WAFF) - A Limestone County convenience store was raided by Athens Police Friday night. Investigators say they found two bags of synthetic marijuana along with 284 counterfeit CD's and 36 pornographic DVD's inside the Exxon Food Mart on Highway 72, just east of I-65. There were also several items used to weigh, smoke and process illegal drugs seized during the raid.
22 year old Sahjanand Patel was arrested and charged with drug possession and distribution. He's being held in the Limestone County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
