Franklin said five people were arrested following a meth bust in Decatur.
Deputies received a call
Saturday of a pregnant woman living at a home on Highway 67 and using
methamphetamine.
Officials said they had been
investigating the home for several months when they received the tip.
Deputies and drug task force
agents dispatched to the home and made contact with several people. Officials
found an active one-pot meth lab and four used one-pot meth labs. They also
found chemicals used to manufacture meth.
One of the individuals, Ashley Borden, was four months pregnant. There was also a pit-bull and five
small puppies in the home.
Animal control was called to
take possession of the dogs.
Officials arrested Borden, Stacey Borden, Jason Ransom, Cory Williams and Terry Davis. They were
each charged with five counts of manufacture of a controlled substance and
possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stacy Borden had an
additional charge of possession of a controlled substance and Ashley Borden was
also charged with possession of marijuana.
