HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) -
A convicted sex offender was found living at a home with
children in Hartselle.
Deputies said they were issued a warrant on Gregory Battles
after he failed to register his residence.
Officials were dispatched to a home on Huckaby Bridge Road
in Hartselle. When they arrived, they found Battle at the location living with
four minor children.
Battle had been convicted of sexually abusing a child under

Battles was arrested and charged with failure to register as a
sexual offender, failure to notify a residency change of address and four
counts of living with a minor as a sexual offender where prohibited.
