MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (WAFF) -
Muscle Shoals Mayor David Bradford upheld the dismissal of a police officer who was fired for shooting a deer on federal land while on duty.
Greg Scoggins was arrested after the deer killing in December. He had a closed-door meeting with the mayor Thursday to appeal for his job.
Now that the mayor has upheld the firing, Scoggins has ten days to appeal to the Civil Service Board.
