COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Colbert County deputies arrested a man connected to multiple burglaries in the Shoals.
Deputies reported two burglaries on December 9 and December 21 at two separate Yogi's stores. Officials said in both incidents, two individuals forced open the front door and stole the safes from inside.
The burglars faces were covered, but their clothes matched in both burglaries.
Officials said the combined total stolen was over $56,000.
On December 22, deputies located one of the safes stolen in a ditch. The safe led them to Kedrick Mason of Sheffield.
Mason was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft.
