TUSCUMBIA, AL (WAFF) -
The case of a Shoals inmate who set fire to a jail cell is headed to the Grand Jury.
Officials said 22-year-old Colbert County Jail inmate, J.J. Common, set a small fire inside his jail cell after officers found his girlfriend trying to smuggle in contraband.
