Attorneys submitted a request for a date to conduct a mental
examination of accused Discovery Middle School shooter, Hammad Memon.
Attorney James Parkman submitted a motion for a mental examination
of Memon. The motion was submitted for a defense expert to conduct the examination on February 15,
2013.
Attorneys filed a motion in December for permission to conduct the mental
examination.
Memon is charged with murder for the shooting death of
middle schooler Todd Brown in 2010.
Court documents show Memon's legal team plans to present an
insanity defense at trial.
