New evidence surfaces in dismemberment case

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) -

Investigators are getting more forensics evidence in the murder of a French Quarter dancer.

The FBI reportedly got some new evidence in early December in the death of Jaren Lockhart.

Her body parts were found on the Mississippi coast in June.

Margaret Sanchez and Terry Speaks were originally suspects in Lockhart's murder, but no formal charges have been filed.

Speaks was sent to North Carolina on a different charge and Sanchez was freed from jail in August.
