DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur Police are searching for a bank robber.
Bank Independent on Highway 31 was robbed around 8 p.m. Friday.
Investigators said a man walked up to the drive-thru window at the bank and demanded money.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of money and left the scene on foot. He dropped money on the ground as he traveled south, away from the bank on Highway 31.
Investigators on the scene wouldn't discuss if or what kind of weapon was possibly used. They have not released a detailed description of the man.
Bank Independent on Highway 31 in Decatur was robbed Friday night.
