TALLADEGA, AL (WSFA) -
The Alabama Department of Public Safety is issuing a missing child alert for Thomas Evan Diggs. The boy was taken by his father, Thomas Eric Diggs, at an Arby's in Talladega.
Thomas Evan Diggs was last seen wearing camo pants and a green John Deere shirt and a GAP camo jacket, according to authorities.
The two are believed to be traveling in a white 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Alabama license plate B-A-1-4-5-4-9. The vehicle may be en route to Daytona Beach, Florida.
There are no arrest warrants on Diggs, who is the child's non-custodial father, but family members are concerned about the safety of Evan.
Thomas Evan Diggs is a white, 5-year-old male with blond or strawberry hair. He weighs 65lbs and stands 3 feet tall.
Thomas Eric Diggs is a white, 35-year-old male with blond or strawberry hair. He weighs 140lbs and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall.
