HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
An 8-year-old boy with a brain tumor had his Make-A-Wish request granted Saturday.
Eli Williams wanted a pop up camper so his family could take trips together.
"The last year, we've been kind of separated as a family, so this is going to be exciting for us to get to have something we can do together and make up for lost time," said Kristie Williams, Eli's mom.
Make-A-Wish and Bankston Motor Homes came through and got Eli and his family a 2013 Quicksilver 10.0 camper as well as camping supplies.
"This pop up is going to help that family create so many memories. I mean as a child, half of my memories are of going camping so he's really going to enjoy this camper," said Chase Baerlin of Bankston Motor Homes.
Eli received the camper during a ceremony Saturday.
