Augusta, GA (WAFF) - Dan McWhinney, take a bow.

The Sault Ste. Marie native notched his second shutout of 2012 on Friday night, as the Havoc blanked the Augusta RiverHawks by a 3-0 tally. That marks McWhinney's 6th career shutout with the Havoc, breaking the record set by legend Matt Carmichael in 2008.

The Havoc have struggled all year, except for the handful of times they've taken on Augusta. They beat the 'Hawks 4-0 on Thanksgiving, then again on November 30th, and a third time last Friday night. This Friday's 3-0 victory was no exception as Chappen LeBlond, Ian Boots and Colin Reddin all collected goals.

McWhinney made 46 stops in the game.

The Havoc will be home Saturday night, hosting the Mississippi RiverKings.
