HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police are seeking an attempted bank robber.
Around 6 p.m. Friday, a man wearing a ski mask went to the drive-thru window at the Bancorpsouth on Highway 72, just west of Jeff Road.
The robber banged on the windows and demanded money.
The bank went into lockdown, and the man ran off without any cash.
Police set up a perimeter in the neighborhood, but were unable to catch the man.
A similar incident occurred at the same bank Friday 14. Police are not sure yet if it is the same person.
A man attempted to rob the Bancorpsouth in West Huntsville Friday evening.
